The original idea was grand: having their engagement session in Saugatuck, Michigan, where they got engaged.
But there’s just so much that goes into an out-of-town engagement session like that, so they opted instead for Mohican Park, about an hour and a half from Columbus, where they’ve rented cabins and enjoyed some time before.
But then it rained on their first scheduled day.
And THEN it rained on their rain date. That hardly ever happens!
They had already taken the time off work, so we opted instead for nearby Griggs Reservoir, where it wasn’t predicted to rain quite as much.
But here’s the thing. It could have been pouring. Or we could have been taking their pictures in a back alley.
It wouldn’t have mattered for these two.
Because their love for each other shines right through in their faces, whether they are standing beside a gorgeous waterfall or in a parking lot.
You can tell from the minute you meet them that they love to laugh together.
They really, really love their dog!
And wine, too!
As it started to sprinkle outside, we headed over to The Wine Bistro, where they love to enjoy some wine and conversation just the two of them or with friends.
They love the finer things in life, and have some fun ideas planned for their wedding.
Corey and Mark, cheers to you both and cheers to your love! I’m actually glad things worked out the way they did, and glad we ended up here at the bistro! I am certain, though, that your love would have shone through wherever we were.
