The Anniversary Project – I didn’t have this blog last year, so I decided to do some one-year anniversary posts for all of last year’s amazing weddings:)
It’s just not everyday the bride steps off a fire truck to walk down the aisle.
So very honored to have been a part of this wedding day! A backyard wedding, with everything homemade with love. I think I loved it extra because it reminded me of my own wedding. These two families worked hard to make this day happen in all its splendor!
Ashley’s sister did her hair and makeup (with the fun from the previous night still showing:)). Ashley’s niece is my new assistant. I think all three of these ladies had a few tears as Ashley was helped into her dress. What a most beautiful bride! But her niece might have stolen the show a bit. And a dashing groom. Ashley’s ride to her parents’ backyard: a firetruck. She and Andrew are both members of the Canaan Township Fire Department. I can’t imagine how many hours were put into these centerpieces! Beautiful! And the dancing lasted well into the night! It was a good, good night:) The most touching part of the reception was when all their fellow firefighters surrounded them with their helmets during their first dance. Just wonderful.Ashley and Andrew, I hope this has been a most wonderful year for you both. Thank you for allowing me to share in your day, and thank you for all that you do for this world!
